Salt Lake City, Utah- For the third straight week No. 21 SLCC Softball (17-7) took home the SWAC Player and Pitcher of the Week Awards.
SS Jazmine Prathan was named the Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Prathan went 8-15 (.533) in Salt Lakes' four game sweep over Snow College. Two of those eight hits were home runs and Prathan totaled seven RBI in the series. Jazmine also scored eight runs, walked twice, and stole five bases. Through 24 games, Prathan has a .410 batting average with 78 at-bats and five home runs.
RHP Elliott Plewe got two wins over the weekend as she earned Pitcher of the Week honors. Plewe posted a 2.33 ERA and surrendered six hits, three walks, and struck out five batters in nine innings of work. Plewe is from Lehi, Utah and is (3-1) on the year with ten appearances. Opponents batting average against the redshirt sophomore over the weekend was .143.
