Coeur d'Alene, Idaho- No. 17 SLCC Softball (21-7) continues to roll as they just completed another four game sweep in conference play, the most recent against North Idaho (12-21).
The Bruins won game three 18-5 in an offensive explosion as Salt Lake scored seven runs in the top of the seventh. Salt Lake had 18 hits and only two of them were extra-base-hits. C Savannah Palmatier and SS Jazmine Prathan hit doubles. Palmatier went 3-5 with a game-high five RBI. Four different SLCC players recorded three hits. RHP Elliott Plewe earned the win and struck out four batters in four innings of work.
Salt Lake won the series finale 12-4 in six innings. LHP Paige Fennell pitched all six innings for the Bruins and got her fourth win of the season. Prathan went 3-4 with two home runs and five RBI to boost Salt Lake. LF Taitumn Reynen went 3-4 in the leadoff spot as the Bruins totaled 12 hits in the game.
