Coeur d'Alene, Idaho- No. 17 SLCC Softball (19-7) won both games against North Idaho (12-19).
The Bruins won the first game 5-0. Salt Lake scored two quick runs in the first inning of an RBI triple from C Savannah Palmatier. A few pitches later, Palmatier scored on an obstruction call. The star of the game was LHP Brecka Larson (8-1) who threw a complete game shutout. Larson allowed only one hit and struck out eleven batters.
Salt Lake finished the doubleheader with a 11-5 win. RHP Aubrie Hansen pitched all seven innings on her way to earning the win. Hansen allowed five earned runs and struck out three batters. Palmatier hit another RBI triple and 3B Lafiana Fifita, 1B Hannah Barlow, DP Baylee Martinez, and DP Lyndee Marshall all added RBI doubles.
