Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Wednesday, February 7, 2024) – No. 20 Salt Lake improved its winning streak to 15 games and handed head coach Marcilina Grayer the 100th win of her young coaching career with a 54-50 road win against No. 24 USU Eastern.
It's the second time in two weeks the Bruins (19-4, 6-0) have beaten USU E. SLCC remains the only unbeaten team in the Scenic West Athletic Conference and is 5-0 on the road.
Sophomore Mia Tarver returned after missing the previous game to score 10 points, grab seven rebounds, and finish with three steals in 27 minutes.
Reigning SWAC Player of the Week, Ines Gnahore led the Bruins with a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double. Freshman Ana Oliviera-Dias did a little of everything, finishing ten points, seven boards, three assists, and three steals.
No. 20 Salt Lake hosts the No. 16 College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles (21-4, 4-1) at Bruin Arena on Thursday, February 15. The only conference loss for CSI came from the then-unranked Bruins 77-67.
