Grayer Moving on After 7 Years as Women's Basketball Head Coach

Salt Lake City, Utah-  After seven great seasons as the head coach of SLCC Women's Basketball, Marcilina Grayer is headed to DI Georgia State University to lead their Women's Basketball program. Karina Brandon who was an Assistant for the Lady Bruins the last four years will be following Grayer to coach the Panthers. 

As head coach from 2019-2026 Grayer recorded a career record of (146-57) and a (70-33) conference record. The Bruins achieved three Regular-Season SWAC Titles, two Region 18 Championships, and made two NJCAA Nationals appearances. Grayer also fulfilled the role of Eligibility Coordinator for the SLCC athletic department.

As a former SLCC player from 2008-2010, Grayer brought a wealth of experience to the program. The Lady Bruins were SWAC Champions in 2010.

While an assistant coach, Marci helped lead the Bruins to an NJCAA Final Four appearance in the 2016-17 season, as Salt Lake earned both Scenic West and Region 18 titles. The Bruins also won the league in 2018 and 2019, repeating as Region 18 champions and claiming the Scenic West crowns.
