Softball: Day Two Results Region 18 Softball Tournament
Salt Lake City- Day two of the Region 18 Softball tournament finished with three games ending in run rules. Top seeded Salt Lake defeated Southern Idaho 8-0 in six innings and Snow College marched through the losers bracket with two run rule victories.
Southern Nevada held on to defeat Western Nevada 12-10 in the first game of the day. Then Snow College run ruled North Idaho 9-0 in five innings.
In the semi final match-up, Salt Lake used six innings to defeat Southern Idaho. Savannah Webster was 2 for 4 with two home runs and four RBI's.
MaCauley Flint struck 10 batters outs while allowing one hit.
Snow College scored eight runs in the first inning to knock Southern Nevada out of the tournament in five innings. Snow moves on to face Southern Idaho at 11 am, winner advancing to the Championship game at 1:30 against top seeded Salt Lake.
The winner of the Region 18 Tournament advances on to NJCAA Nationals in St. George, UT.
