St. George, UT- The Salt Lake Community College Softball team took two win today over Western Nevada 7-0 and 3-0. The SLCC pitching staff combined to allow just two hits over 14 innings of play. The two wins extends Salt Lake's winning streak to seven games with a record of 15-2 and 6-0 in conference play.
The Bruins scored early in game one pushing three and four runs across the plate.
Tanisha Anderson was 3 for 3 with a double;
Lyndsey Healey drove home two runs going 1 for 3 in the game.
Ariel Zimmerman went six innings allowing one hit with six k's giving way to
Kylee Colvin in the seventh. Colvin completed the game with one strikeout and no hits.
McCauley Flint allowed one hit over seven innings in game two with seven strikeouts.
Malia Campos was 2 for 4; Savannah Webster connected on a solo home run and
Mylee Davis hit a RBI double.
