West Jordan, Utah- RHP Case Beames (2-2) was named the SWAC Pitcher of the Week. In his second start of the season, Beames pitched five scoreless innings and earned the win as Salt Lake beat USU-Eastern 11-3. Case allowed only two hits, one walk, and struck out four batters. 

Beames has thrown 30.2 innings this season and leads the Bru Cru with 38 strikeouts. Case is a freshman from Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
