West Jordan, Utah- Salt Lake baseball (30-13) won 10-2 in seven innings over USU-Eastern (26-26). The Bruins won three out of four in the series.
RHP Nolan Tillitt picked up his first win of the season. Tillitt had a quality start as he allowed two runs in five innings of work. Nolan struck out six batters and surrendered only four hits. LHP Mason Green pitched the final two innings and five of his six recorded outs were strikeouts.
The entire lineup for the Bru Cru produced as Salt Lake compiled 12 hits. 1B Kaden Hodson drove in three runs and hit two doubles in the gap. CF Tyler West, SS Drew Smith, and LF Lute Chavez also had two hits in the win. Salt Lake scored four runs in the bottom of the first and four runs in the bottom of the third.
