West Jordan, Utah- Salt Lake baseball (29-13) and USU-Eastern (26-25) each took a game in today's doubleheader.
The Eagles won 6-5 as they jumped out to a 6-1 lead after five innings. Salt Lake scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth and two runs in the bottom of the seventh. The comeback effort fell short as the game ended with the bases loaded. The Bruins recorded four hits in the game. RF Willy Roberts led the Bru Cru with three RBI.
Salt Lake scored at least one run in every inning and won game two 12-4. C AJ Thomas hit two home runs for the Bruins and finished with 3 RBI. LF Lute Chavez went 3-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
