TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (June 23, 2022) – The Salt Lake Community College Baseball team continues to add impressive national honors after one of its most successful seasons in history.
SLCC picked up another national individual honor Wednesday, as Bruins infielder
Bruer Webster earned his second 'ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award' for the NJCAA's Division-I. Webster is the only player from the Scenic West Athletic Conference to be named to the list and one of a pair of NJCAA Western District players (Cochise's Treyjen Meza).
A native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Webster hit .344 and posted 36 RBI's on the season. He finished with a fielding percentage of .994, posting the highest fielding percentage of any middle infielder on the list.
Salt Lake went 47-10 during the 2022 season, earning the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular-season and Region 18 championships. The Bruins were ranked as high as No. 11 in the country.
