Salt Lake City, Utah-  No. 21 SLCC Softball (9-7) split a competitive four-game series last week against No. 22 CSI. Strong performances earned Brecka Larson the SWAC Pitcher of the Week Award and Lafiana Fifita the SWAC Player of the Week Award. 

RHP Brecka Larsen threw nine innings last week and got the win in both of her appearances. Larsen's ERA was 1.55 and she struck out nine Golden Eagles across two games. The freshman is (5-1) in seven appearances and has 32 strikeouts this season in 31 innings pitched. 

DP Lafiana Fifita had nine RBI and four home runs in a phenomenal offensive series for the Bruins. Fifita hit .444 in the four game series and walked five times. Fifita is a freshman from Taylorsville, Utah and went to West Jordan high school.
