Twin Falls, IDAHO- No. 18 SLCC Softball (9-7) bounced back and won both games of Saturday's double header at No. 24 CSI. 

Salt Lake defeated No. 24 CSI in game three 10-2 in six innings. The Bruins got started early as Lafiana Fifita drove in a run and Jazmine Prathan hit an RBI double in the top of the first. Taitumn Reynen went 4-4 with a home run and three runs scored. 

In the fifth inning Fifita walked with the bases loaded and Reynen scored on a wild pitch. With two runners on Prathan hit a three run homer. Hannah Barlow hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning for the Bruins. Brecka Larsen pitched all six innings for Salt Lake and struck out five batters. Larsen surrendered only four hits, and two of them were solo home runs. 

The Bruins offense was strong all series and consistent in Salt Lake's 9-3 victory in game four. Barlow hit a solo home run and Jettlee Ioane added a two-run home run to give Salt Lake a 3-0 lead in the third inning. CSI responded by scoring two runs in the bottom of the third. Ioane hit a sac-fly in the fifth inning and Fifita hit her fourth home run of the weekend to boost Salt Lake's lead to 5-2. Salt Lake got an insurance run in the sixth inning and three more runs in the seventh to earn a split with CSI in the first weekend of SWAC play. Brecka Larsen pitched the first three innings of the game and gave up two unearned runs. Elliott Plewe pitched the final four innings of the game and allowed two hits, one run, and struck out four batters.
