Salt Lake, Utah- Bruins SS Drew Smith was named the SWAC Player of the Week. Last week the Bru Cru swept the Prairie Baseball Academy in four games. Smith went 7-14 in the series with four extra-base hits. Drew's slash line was .500/.529/1.143. 

Smith's best game of the week resulted in a 4-5 day with two home runs, eight RBI and three runs scored. Overall, Smith plated five runs and recorded 12 RBI. 

Smith is a freshman from Saratoga Springs, Utah and went to Pleasant Grove high school.
