Box Score PRICE, Utah- (Thursday, February 6, 2025)- No. 24 Salt Lake Women's Basketball (18-5, 7-2) outscored USU-Eastern (12-11, 4-5) by ten in the second half and won 63-49. Neither team scored in the final two minutes.
Freshman Nari Powers had a game-high 16 points in only 26 minutes to lead Salt Lake. Powers went off from deep going 4 for 6 on three-pointers. USU-Eastern only made four shots as a team from beyond the arc.
Freshmen Ines Babaya and Ahnica Russell-Brown had 11 and 10 points respectively for the Bruins.
Salt Lake had ten assists as a team and sophomore Jeanne Rodriguez had four of them.
Madison Anderson recorded 14 points and six boards for the Eagles in the loss.
