No. 23 Bruins Fall Short Against CSI

TWIN FALLS, Idaho- (Wednesday, February 12, 2025)- No. 23 Salt Lake Women's Basketball (18-6, 7-3) lost to CSI (19-7, 7-4) on the road 67-58. 

After a low-scoring first half the Bruins trailed the Golden Eagles 22-20. CSI outscored SLCC by six points in the fourth quarter to successfully close out the game. 

Bruin guard Simran Williams had a game-high 20 points in the loss. Tahys Da Silva added 12 points for Salt Lake. 

The Bruins struggled from deep going 3-20. CSI shot 25 more free-throws than Salt Lake.

Maria Mons led the Golden Eagles with 14 points.
