Scottsbluff, NEBRASKA- No. 11 SLCC Women's Basketball (1-1) split their first two games of the season. The Bruins lost on Halloween Night to No. 4 Dodge City Community College 67-52. Then Salt Lake beat the tournament hosts Western Nebraska 71-54.
Salt Lake led Dodge City after the first quarter, but then got outscored in the last three quarters.
In the Bruins Victory against Western Nebraska Ahnica Russell-Brown dropped a game-high 15 points. Tahys Da Silva hit four threes and added 14 points. Lyla Kahrimanovic and Nani Tuigamala had double-figures off the bench scoring 13 and ten points respectively.

Salt Lake WBB play at the Dawson Community College Tournament in Montana November 14th-16th. The Bruins play Miles Community College on the 14th at 5:30 pm.
