No. 19 Salt Lake Women's Basketball Fall to Ranked CSI

The Bruins Come up Short in Tough Road-Battle

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (Wednesday, January 8, 2024)- No. 19 Salt Lake Women's Basketball (13-4) lost on the road to No. 8 CSI 61-58. The Bruins led the Golden Eagles by two at the end of the third quarter. CSI (14-3) went 7 of 8 on free-throws in the final two minutes in the fourth to close out Salt Lake. 

Freshman Tahys Da Silva never came out for Salt Lake, leading the Bruins with 21 points. Freshman Nari Powers added 13 points and 8 rebounds and sophomore Jeanne Rodriguez netted 10 points for Salt Lake. 

Samara Morrow had a team-high 15 points for CSI.
