Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, February 17, 2024) – Defense controlled the action at Bruin Arena as No. 20 Salt Lake blasted North Idaho for its 17th consecutive win.
SLCC limited the Cardinals to ten points in the first and third quarters, outscoring North Idaho 41-10.
Sophomore Ines Gnahore came off the bench to lead a balanced scoring attack with 13 points and three rebounds. Karina Grayer and Heaven Samayoa-Mathis added nine points each. Ana Oliviera-Dias added five points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
The win clinched the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title and gives the Bruins the right to host the Region 18 postseason tournament on Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16.
No. 20 Salt Lake looks for its 18th straight win when it hosts Community Christian College on Wednesday, February 21. Tip-off is at 5 p.m. (MT).
