RIVERTON, Wyoming (Friday-Saturday, November 1 & 2, 2024) No. 25 Salt Lake Women's Basketball opened up the season with two games at the 'Hampton Inn Tip-Off Classic' hosted by Central Wyoming College. 

The Bruins beat Central Wyoming on Friday 95-41. Guards Tahys Da Silva and Blanche Toualeu both led Salt Lake with 15 points. The Bruins had 24 steals as a team which led to 27 Rustler turnovers. 

On Saturday Salt Lake got another blowout win beating Fort Hays Tech 100-43. Four Bruin players scored double figures. Freshman Analeise Maharaj had a game high 14 points. 

The Bruin defense was strong again as the Tigers committed 36 turnovers. 

Up Next
Salt Lake is headed to the Wrangler Classic hosted by Odessa College in Odessa,Texas. The Bruins will play three games November 7th-9th. The first game on November 7th is against Bishop College. Game time TBA.
