Box Score 3 ODESSA, Texas No. 25 Salt Lake Women's Basketball went 2-1 this weekend at the 2024 Wrangler Classic hosted by Odessa College.
The Bruins first defeated Bishop College 72-48. Sophomores Jeanne Rodriguez and Autumn Agnew both scored 13 points to lead the Bruins. The Salt Lake bench had a great game, providing 45 points.
The second game of the week, Salt lake beat Frank Phillips College in a low scoring 54-44 win.
The Bruins finished the weekend against the hosts, No. 8 in the nation Odessa College. The Wranglers outlasted the Bruins 76-71. Freshman Nari Powers led the Bruins with 14 points and seven boards. Salt Lake committed 39 fouls which led to 54 free throw attempts for the Wranglers.
