Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Friday, January 5, 2024) – A dynamic Salt Lake bench attack led the Bruins to a 93-74 win over Central Wyoming.
The Bruins improved to 12-4 with their seventh-straight win and second of the season over the Rustlers.
After scoring her previous season-high of 22 in a 93-34 win over CWC in Bruin Arena on December 1, sophomore Ines Gnahore set a new season-high with 24 points and 10 rebounds. The 5'11 guard/forward made 10-of-15 shots and was perfect in three free throw attempts.
Fellow Frenchwoman Jeanne Rodriguez came off the bench to notch a double-double of her own. The 6'2 center finished with season-highs of 20 points and 10 boards.
Heaven Samayoa-Mathis added 16 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Mia Tarver finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
Salt Lake opens Scenic West Athletic Conference play when they take on the No. 17 College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles on Wednesday, January 10. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. (MT). SLCC then heads to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to face the North Idaho College Cardinals on Saturday, January 13.
