TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Friday, November 10, 2023) – Salt Lake came up short in a game featuring nine ties and 15 lead changes, falling to No. 20 Eastern Arizona on Friday night.

The Bruins fell to 2-3 with the 60-58 setback.

Mia Tarver led all scorers with 17 points, a team-high six rebounds, and a steal. Heaven Samayoa-Mathis made 3-of-4 triples on her way to 14 points and four boards. 

Ana Oliviera Dias and Ines Gnahore finished with two steals and two assists.

Salt Lake (2-3) faces Pima Community College in its final game of the Arizona Tournament on Saturday, November 11. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. (MT).
