Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (December 7 ,2022) – The No. 10 Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball team didn't skip a beat Wednesday, opening Scenic West Athletic Conference play in impressive fashion.
 
SLCC began its Scenic West schedule on the road at in-state rival Snow College, downing the Lady Badgers in an 86-66 decision. The Bruins are now 9-0 overall and 1-0 in league games.
 
After both teams were tied at 13-13 after the first quarter, the Bruins went on a 30-13 run in the second quarter to hold a 43-26 lead. SLCC shot 54.8 percent for the game, going 9-of-17 from three-point range. Salt Lake led by as many as 23 points midway through the second half.
 
Aminata Diakite led SLCC with 26 points, going 11-of-13 from the field. Brooke Donnelly scored 16 points and Allyzee Verdan had 13 points. 
 
Salt Lake will continue its Scenic West in-state road trip Saturday, playing at USU Eastern.
