Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 3, 2021) – An offensive explosion led to the Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team earning a strong Scenic West Athletic Conference home win Wednesday.

SLCC picked up an 87-66Â win over Colorado Northwestern Community College, leading 38-33Â at halftime to propel to the big win. The Bruins sit at 10-3 overall and 5-3 in league play after the victory.
After taking a 19-11 first quarter lead, CNCC outscored SLCC 22-19 in the second quarter to stay close in the game. However, the Bruins utilized a 26-13 run in the third quarter, keyed by 52.6 percent shooting (10-of-19), to take control of the victory. Salt Lake led by as many as 27 points in the fourth quarter.
Leilani Augmon scored a game-high 22 points, while
Awa Sidibe posted 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
Jalyn Van Dyke also scored 10 points. SLCC held a 24-6 edge in second-chance points.

The Bruins will travel on the road to play at the College of Southern Nevada Saturday.
