SLCC Women’s Basketball earns strong win at CNCC

Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 18, 2021) – The Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team started off its final road trip of the 2021 regular season with a win Thursday.
 
Starting a two-game road swing at Colorado Northwestern, the Bruins powered to a 67-43 win over the Lady Spartans. Salt Lake moved to 13-4 overall and 8-4 in Scenic West Athletic Conference games with the win.

The Bruins started well offensively in the win, leading 20-11 after the first quarter and 39-22 at halftime. Salt Lake bullied CNCC in the paint, holding a 40-10 advantage, along with scoring 15 points off turnovers.

Naelle Bernard scored 17 points, while Aminata Diakite finished with 13 points. Awa Sidibe had 12 points in the win. 
 
SLCC will travel to play Snow College on the road Saturday. The Bruins have suffered a pair of one-point losses to Snow in two games this season.
