Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (December 18, 2021) – The Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball team took another step forward, earning an impressive road win in Scenic West Athletic Conference play over an in-state rival.
SLCC picked up a 54-53 victory over Snow College, upping the program's winning streak to eight games. Salt Lake is now 9-2 overall and 4-0 in Scenic West play.
In a game that went back-and-forth, SLCC took a 29-22 halftime lead, then held on for the win as Snow clawed back into the game. Defense played a strong role in the win for the Bruins as Salt Lake allowed Snow just 38.6 percent shooting, along with forcing 17 Snow turnovers.
Ashton Adamson played her best game of the season at the right time for the Bruins, scoring 14 points off the bench to lead SLCC.
Naelle Bernard scored 11 points, while
Diarrah Sissoko posted 9 points.
Salt Lake will now travel south to Las Vegas for a three-game tournament hosted by the College of Southern Nevada.
