Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 13, 2021) – The Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball team earned a strong win in a home preseason tournament game Saturday.
 
SLCC picked up a 58-46 win over Western Wyoming Community College, leading at halftime and powering to the win. The Bruins are now 2-2 overall thanks to the win.
 
Both teams went back-and-forth throughout the first half, with Salt Lake taking a 27-23 lead at halftime. Western Wyoming actually shot fifty percent from the field (21-of-42), compared to SLCC's 38.2 percent (21-of-55). Where the Bruins took control was at the free-throw line, with Western Wyoming making 1-of-4 free throws.
 
Hennessey Luu-Brown scored 15 points, while Allyzee Verdan posted 9 points. Diarrah Sissoko finished with 8 points.
 
Salt Lake will play on Nov. 24 at USU Eastern.
