Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 15, 2020) - The Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team fell in its lone game of the week on Saturday.
The Bruins lost a 61-56 decision with the College of Southern Idaho, leading at halftime before falling late in the game. The loss drops SLCC's overall record to 19-6 and 8-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Salt Lake held a 40-29 halftime lead, leading 49-48 lead entering the final period. Southern Idaho outscored SLCCÂ 13-7 in the fourth quarter.Â
Ashley Scoggin led the Bruins with 11 points, while
Awa Sidibe finished with 10 points.
Leichan Williams had 11 rebounds in the loss.
Salt Lake will travel next weekend to face off against Snow College and USU Eastern.Â
