The Bruins earned a 73-26 win over Western Wyoming Community College to sweep through a mini-tournament hosted by the Mustangs in Rock Springs, Wyo. The win boosts Salt Lake's overall record to 2-0.

SLCC took a 16-7 lead and a 34-12 halftime lead. Salt Lake's defense limited WWCC to just 17.4 percent shooting in the first half (4-of-23) and 14.8 percent shooting overall. SLCC scored 23 points off turnovers and held a 24-8 edge in team rebounds. Offensively, the Bruins dominated at the free-throw line, making 24-of-32 attempts.Â
Awa Sidibe led Salt Lake in scoring for the second time in as many games, finishing with 24 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double.
Riley Frith and
Cameron Mooney scored 13 points. Salt Lake had just 12 turnovers in the game.Â

Salt Lake will travel in two weeks for a tournament in New Mexico. The program's home opener is scheduled for Nov. 29 against Eastern Wyoming.Â
