Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 15, 2019) - The No. 13 Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team fell in a non-conference game on Friday.

The Bruins fell 77-35 to No. 2 South Plains College in a preseason tournament in Arizona, struggling offensively. The loss drops SLCC's overall record to 2-1.

South Plains took an 18-2 lead after the opening period, holding the Bruins to 0-of-12 shooting in the period. SLCC shot just 20 percent in the game. The Bruins also committed 28 turnovers.

Riley Frith finished with 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting, while Awa Sidibe had 11 points. 

Salt Lake will play New Mexico Junior College on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
