Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 10, 2018) - So much for a warm homecoming for the No. 7 Salt Lake Community College Bruins.
Salt Lake, playing its first game inside the Lifetime Activities Center since mid-January, was hoping to receive plenty of good vibes in a home game against in-state Scenic West Athletic Conference rival Snow College. Instead, the Bruins were dealt their first league loss since early January, with Snow taking a 59-51 road victory over SLCC.
A slow start affected the Bruins, as Snow led 15-7 after the opening period. Still, Salt Lake trailed by only a point entering the fourth quarter, a quarter which the Badgers outscored SLCCÂ in, 22-15.
Miki'alo Maio led Salt Lake with 15 points.
Tia Hay contributed 13 points, while Jamaica Martin finished with 11 points.Â
The Bruins will play next on Feb. 15 as they host the College of Southern Idaho at the Lifetime Activities Center in Taylorsville. The game is scheduled to tip at 5:30 p.m., with live stats available at slccbruins.com. The game will stream at live.ksl.com.Â
