WBB: Season-High Points for M. Mills in 83-58 Win Over CNCC

Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- The No. 1 ranked Bruins opened up conference play against Colorado Northwestern with a win 82-58 Thursday night. Salt Lake remains perfect on the season with a 14-0 overall record and 1-0 in conference play. The Bruins shot 51 percent from the field and had four players end in double-figures.

Monique Mills came out with the hot hand shooting 11-for-17 with a game and season-high 30 points and grabbing six rebounds. Sydnee Taylor contributed 13 points, six rebounds, and a game-high seven assists. Point Guard Iva Georgieva added 13 points and five steals. Elsa Paulsson Glantz had 10 points and a game-high seven steals. Dominque Mills came off the bench with seven points and five rebounds.

Salt Lake never relinquished the lead tallying 22 steals to the Spartans four.  The Bruins defense held the Spartans shooting to 37 percent.  

SLCC continues conference play Saturday Dec. 12 against USU-Eastern at 3:00 p.m.
