TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Tuesday, November 5, 2024)— Salt Lake Community College Athletics has taken a significant step forward in supporting student-athletes with its new partnership with Influxer, an officially licensed vendor specializing in co-branded apparel.
Influxer is partnered with over 400 universities, including the Oklahoma Sooners and LSU Tigers.
Through this collaboration, fans can now purchase personalized merchandise featuring their favorite Bruins' names and numbers, creating a unique way to support the team while sporting exclusive gear.
Each SLCC student-athlete will have access to a personal web page to showcase their custom apparel. This will allow them to engage directly with fans and create a monetization platform for their name, image, and likeness. In addition to providing this opportunity, Influxer will offer educational resources on marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding to help student-athletes thrive both on and off the field.
"Influxer is excited to work with SLCC because Kevin Dustin, Tara Rodrick, and the administration understand not only the immediate benefits of working with us but also the long-term resources for their student-athletes," Influxer Vice President Keith Miller said. "NIL is not simply transactional, but an opportunity which Influxer wants to further into the development process for their student-athletes."
Influxer will oversee the online store, fulfillment, and customer service while collaborating on creative elements and marketing with Salt Lake Community College and its student-athletes.
