Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- The No. 1 ranked Bruins opened up conference play against Colorado Northwestern with a win 82-58 Thursday night. Salt Lake remains perfect on the season with a 14-0 overall record and 1-0 in conference play. The Bruins shot 51 percent from the field and had four players end in double-figures.
Monique Mills came out with the hot hand shooting 11-for-17 with a game and season-high 30 points and grabbing six rebounds.
Sydnee Taylor contributed 13 points, six rebounds, and a game-high seven assists. Point Guard
Iva Georgieva added 13 points and five steals.
Elsa Paulsson Glantz had 10 points and a game-high seven steals. Dominque Mills came off the bench with seven points and five rebounds.
Salt Lake never relinquished the lead tallying 22 steals to the Spartans four. Â The Bruins defense held the Spartans shooting to 37 percent. Â
