No. 19 SLCC Women's Basketball to take on SWAC rival Snow College this Saturday

Salt Lake City, UT—The No. 19-ranked SLCC Women's Basketball team (14-9, 5-5 SWAC) will face off with in-state rival Snow College (9-15, 3-7 SWAC) in Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) play on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Bruin Arena.

The Bruins defeated the Snow Badgers 55-43 on Jan. 19 in Ephraim, UT and are currently in third place in the SWAC behind a pair of teams, North Idaho College and the College of Southern Idaho, both of whom own 8-2 marks in conference play.

Saturday's game against Snow takes place on Alumni Night for SLCC Basketball, with players and coaches from years past being honored with halftime ceremonies and postgame receptions.

SLCC is averaging 61.0 points scored per game, led by sophomore center Rachel Morris (Mesquite, NV) with 12.9 points per contest. Second on the team in scoring is freshman guard Natalie Parsons (Bountiful, UT) with 8.9 points per outing. The Bruins are allowing an average of 54.7 points per game to the opposition so far this season.
