Salt Lake City, UT—The No. 19-ranked SLCC Women's Basketball team (16-10, 7-6 SWAC) fell to Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) rival No. 4-ranked North Idaho College (27-2, 13-1 SWAC) 55-53 on Saturday at Bruin Arena. SLCC shot 40.0% in the losing effort and gave up 12 points on turnovers.

Bruin sophomore center Rachel Morris (Mesquite, NV) turned in a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds and sophomore guard Katie Richens (Roosevelt, UT) added 11 points in the loss. Freshman forward Bella Swan (Farmington, UT) scored nine points to go with seven rebounds.

Next up for Head Coach Betsy Specketer and the Bruins is a road matchup with Colorado Northwestern CC (13-14, 2-10 SWAC) on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 5:30 p.m. in Rangley, CO.
