SALT LAKE CITY, UT—The SLCC Women's Basketball team (3-0) picked up its third straight win to start the 2013-2014 season with a
63-58 victory over Pima College on Thursday at the Lifetime Activities Center.
The Bruins shot 37.3% from the field and went 16-for-27 from the free throw line to secure the win in the team's first home game of the season. SLCC held Pima to 6-for-27 from three point range and forced 16 Aztec turnovers.

Natalie Parsons (Bountiful, UT) led the Bruins with 16 points and had four rebounds to go with two assists. Freshman forward
Tanesha Daniels (Brigham City, UT) added 10 points and eight rebounds and sophomore guard
Mercedes Riggs (Lindon, UT) turned in nine points on 6-of-8 from the free throw line.

Betsy Specketer and the Bruins is a matchup with South Mountain Community College on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Lifetime Activities Center.
