1st 2nd Final SLCC 30 21 51 #10 NIC 25 42 67 Salt Lake City- A huge second half by 10th ranked North Idaho led to the 67-51 defeat of Salt Lake. The Bruins held a five point lead at half time but 42 second half points by North Idaho was too much to overcome. The loss drops Salt Lake's record to 10-9 overall and 1-5 in conference play. Sophia Hepworth led the SLCC scoring attack with 22 points and seven rebounds. Diamond Marchand and Fawn Brady each added 11 points in the loss. Salt Lake was out rebounded 47-29 by North Idaho with 21 offensive rebounds. The Bruins (10-9, 1-5 SWAC) will host Southern Idaho tomorrow in Bruin Arena with tip off set for 3 p.m.
