SALT LAKE CITY- A 26% shooting percentage led to a 58-44 loss at the hands of Eastern Utah for the SLCC Women's Basketball team. Salt Lake was unable to get into a rhythm shooting as they fell for only the second time at home in two years. The loss drops the Bruins record to 10-7 overall and 1-3 in SWAC action.
On a tough shooting night three Bruins finished in double digits led by 13 points from Sophia Hepworth followed by 11 points scored by
Fawn Brady and
Marissa Robbins added 10. The SLCC bench was held silent with just two points scored while Eastern Utah scored 17 points off of SLCC turnovers.
Salt Lake (10-7, 1-3 SWAC) heads out on the road to face Snow College on January 21
st in Ephraim, Utah.
