EPHRAIM, UT - The Salt Lake Community College Women's Basketball team took a five point win over Snow College 55-50. With the win Salt Lake is 8-2 in SWAC play and 18-4 overall. At half Salt Lake held a four point lead; clutch free throws down the stretch sealed the win.
Salt Lake's tenacious rebounding proved to be the difference maker; Salt Lake out rebounded Snow 43-25 allowing only four offensive rebounds for Snow. Haley Holmstead (10 pts), Jami Mokofisi (8 pts) and Alli Blake (10 pts) lead Salt Lake offensively. In the final minutes of the game Katie Walker went 4-4 from the foul line and Mokofisi hit 2-2 to put the final touches on the game.
The Bruins return home to host Southern Idaho and North Idaho on February 11th & 12th.
