SALT LAKE CITY – The 13th ranked SLCC Women's Basketball team escaped with a two point win over #9 North Idaho 60-58. With the win the Bruins take control of first place in the SWAC with a 9-2 record.
Sofia Hepworth led Salt Lake with 21 points, nine rebounds and two steals. Hepworth's quick hands stole the ball from North Idaho with 20 seconds left to close out the win. Jami Mokofisi added 12 points and Marrisa Robbins scored 11. Salt Lake shot 45% from the field while dodging 19 turnovers .
No. 13 Salt Lake hits the court tomorrow at 3:00 pm as they take on CSI in the Black vs. Blue game.
