SALT LAKE CITY – The 14^th ranked SLCC women's basketball team took control of the SWAC with a 12 point win over Snow College 72-60.  Salt Lake scored 21 points off Snow turnovers to just nine points scored by Snow as well as 24 points in the paint.  The Bruins are 4-1 in conference play and 14-3 overall.

Haley Holmstead lit up the score board late in the second half to push Salt Lake past an aggressive Snow College.  Holmstead ended the first half with six points but caught on fire in the second half to finish with a team high 32 points on 10-25 shooting and 11-12 at the charity stripe.  Jami Mokofisi finished with a double-double collecting 17 boards and scoring 16.  The foul line was the difference maker in the game with Salt Lake hitting 24-29 free throws to Snow's 12-16.

SLCC (14-3, 4-1 SWAC) hits the road to face North Idaho College and Southern Idaho on January 20^th and 22^nd.
