SALT LAKE CITY (February 13, 2010) – The SLCC Women's Basketball team regained control in the SWAC with a 72-61 defeat of North Idaho College. Salt Lake shot 52% in the game and outscored North Idaho 42-31 in the second half. Salt Lake is 20-5 overall and 12-4 in Scenic West action.
Haley Holmstead scored 20 points on 11-22 shooting and was 7-7 from the free throw line. Kelsey Sparkman collected 10 boards with eight points and Alli Blake finished with 15 points.
The Bruins (20-5, 12-4 SWAC) hit the road to face Colorado Northwestern on Friday February 19th and take on Eastern Utah on Saturday February 20th.
