SALT LAKE CITY – The 25th ranked SLCC Bruins Women's Basketball team defeated Southern Idaho 66-52 lead by Jami Mokofisi's fifth double-double of the season. Salt Lake went on a 12-2 run late in the second half to seal the win.
Jami Mokofisi and Alli Blake combined to collect 24 rebounds with Blake grabing a season high 14. Mokofisi finished with 18 points on 7-10 shooting and Haley Holmstead added 18 points. The Bruins survived 29 turnovers and 11 steals while sinking 21-27 free throws.
Salt Lake(8-2) will face thrid ranked North Idaho College tomorrow night in Bruin Arena at 3:00 pm.
