Salt Lake City, Utah- Consistent play by Daxlyn Robinson has earned her the SWAC Defensive Player of the Week award. The Bruins went 3-1 last week and Robinson played in every set. The libero had double-digit digs in each match and averaged 3.8 digs per set. 

Additionally, Dax was named to the All-"Inn"vitational team this past week. Robinson is from Salem, Utah and a returning starter at Salt Lake. As a freshman last season, Dax led the Bruins with 394 digs. She made second team All-Region and was named the SWAC Defensive Player of the Week three times.

The Bruins head to Twin Falls, Idaho to compete in the STARR Corporation Invitational that is hosted by CSI. SLCC will have three matches there. The first match is on Friday September 4th at 1:00 pm versus Central Wyoming College.
