Salt Lake City, Utah- No. 7 Salt Lake Volleyball started their season with three wins and a loss at the Battle of the Beach in Fort Meyers, Florida. Highlights of last weekend included the Bruins upsetting No. 2 Florida Southwestern and Angelina Murase being named the SWAC Player of the Week. 

Murase played in every set for Salt Lake (16) and led the Bruins in kills in two of their matches and overall with 61 kills. Lili shined with 19 kills and nine digs in Salt Lake's win over No. 2 Florida Southwestern. 

Murase also recorded 14 service aces, a solo block, and 12 block assists over the weekend. Lili is from Osaka, Japan and had the fifth most kills last season for Salt Lake with 171.
