Clarksville, TENNESSEE- No. 7 seed Salt Lake lost to No. 2 seed Weatherford College in Day 2 of Nationals in five sets. The Bruins won the first two sets, but the Coyotes came back to pull off the reverse sweep.
The Bruins started hot, winning the first set 25-22 and the second set 25-15. The response from the Coyotes was enough as they won three straight sets, winning the fifth set 15-11.
Ryen Smith had 15 kills to lead Salt Lake and Cameron Zajer added 13 kills. Setter Myka Christensen had 29 assists and four service aces in the loss.
Beline Thibaut led Weatherford with 15 kills.
