Box Score 4 WEST JORDAN, Utah (April 4th-5th)- No. 18 Salt Lake Baseball won three out of four games against the College of Southern Idaho.
CSI won game one 6-8. The Golden Eagles posted four runs in the fifth and four runs in the sixth inning to close out the game. Half of CSI's runs were unearned. CF Luke Jacobs hit two home runs and recorded three RBI for the Bruins in the loss.
Salt Lake won game two 9-7 as they walked-it-off in the tenth inning on a Luke Jacobs home run. The game was tied up in four different innings. Boston Jacobs was 2 for 3 with three RBI for Salt Lake. Jake Olsen and Colton Stanton each recorded two hits for the Bruins.
SLCC won game three 5-1. The Bruins starting pitcher Jaxon Grossman (2-0) tossed all seven innings and struck out four batters. Taylor Ayala hit a two RBI single to break open the scoring for the Bruins. Hudson Manwaring and Colton Stanton both added two hits. Only two of Salt Lake's runs were earned as CSI committed six errors.
The Bruins won game four 11-10 in ten innings off an Avery Doezie walk-off RBI single. Salt Lake led 9-5 after eight innings. CSI stunned Salt Lake as they put up five runs in the top of the ninth to take the lead 10-9. Jake Mortensen brought in Taylor Ayala in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game. Doezie hit his second RBI single in the tenth to give the Bruins a second extra-inning victory.
Mortensen went 2 for 5 with four RBI and scored two runs. Hudson Manwaring added two RBI and two runs scored. Kade Gambill was 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored for Salt Lake. Errors doomed CSI once again as the Golden Eagles committed seven of them in the final game.

Salt Lake will head back on the road for a four game series against USU-Eastern, April 11th and 12th. Game one begins at 1:00 pm on Friday.
