TWIN FALLS, Idaho- No. 18 SLCC Baseball swept CSI in four games to close out the regular season. The Bruins will be the number one seed in the conference tournament next week. 

Salt Lake won game one 21-8. CF Luke Jacobs led the Bruins with seven RBI. Jacobs hit a grand slam in the seventh inning. C Easton Romero also homered. SS Jake Olsen went 4 for 5 and scored four runs. RF Hudson Manwaring and 1B Jalen Seward both recorded four RBI. RHP Gage Olsen pitched three scoreless innings and picked up the win. 

The Bru Cru won game two 6-5. Seward was 3 for 5 and drove in Manwaring in the top of the ninth, allowing the Bruins to pull away. RHP Austin Taylor picked up the win in relief and RHP Darius Henderson recorded the save. 

The Bruins won game three 11-4. Jacobs recorded three RBI off of two home runs to lead Salt Lake. Five players in the Bruin lineup had two hits. RHP Dallin Weatherly struck out six batters in four innings and earned the win. 

Salt Lake closed out CSI, winning 12-6. Luke Jacobs hit a single, a double, and homered on his way to five more RBI. Hudson Manwaring went 4 for 6 with three RBI. 2B Jake Mortensen went 2 for 4 and scored three runs. LHP Heber Jenkins tossed four scoreless innings out of the bullpen and got the win.

Salt Lake enters the SWAC Regionals as the top seed. The Bruins will play CNCC at home in a best of three game series. Game 1 is Thursday May 1st at 1:00.
